Meloxicam (brand names Metacam® Loxicom®, OroCAM®, Rheumocam) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, inflammation, and fever in dogs and cats. It is indicated for the treatment of osteoarthritis in dogs and cats. Meloxicam is also used to treat pain associated with surgery.

Meloxicam is an easy-to-administer oral tablet prescribed to reduce joint pain, inflammation and stiffness in pets, as well as to increase mobility. It helps to control pain associated with severe and chronic musculoskeletal disorders, such as arthritis. It comes in a tablet form, easily pilled or disguised in wet food if your dog is fussy.
