Atopica for Cats is an easy-to-administer oral solution that helps relieve excessive itching, scratching and licking in cats with skin allergies. It may be given directly into your cat's mouth, or over a small amount of food.

Indication:

For the control of allergic dermatitis in cats over 6 months of age and 1.4kg body weight.

Active Ingredient:

Cyclosporine 100mg/ml

Special Instructions:

• Read instructions for assembling dispensing system and preparing doses before use. 
• The included syringe adapter cannot be used with syringes other than the provided dosing syringe.
• The units on the dosing syringe correspond to your cat's body weight in kilograms. 
• One unit on the dosing syringe provides 0.07ml (7mg) of medication. Following this scale results in a dose of 7mg/kg.
• Do not wash or clean the dosing syringe in between uses.
• The dosing syringe should not be used with medications other than Atopica for Cats.

Warnings:

• Atopica for Cats is a systemic immunosuppressant that may increase susceptibility to infection and development of neoplasia
• The most common adverse effects are vomiting, diarrhoea and weight loss
• Use with caution in cats with renal disease or diabetes mellitus, and in conjunction with drugs that affect the P-450 enzyme pathway
• Cats on this medication should receive killed vaccines
• Cats that are seronegative for Toxoplasma gondii may be at risk of developing clinical toxoplasmosis if they are infected while under treatment

Not for use in:

• Cats under 6 months of age and/or 1.4kg body weight
• Breeding, pregnant, or nursing cats
• Cats with a history of neoplasia or suspected neoplasia
• Cats infected with FeLV or FIV
• Cats with a hypersensitivity to cyclosporine
