Bismuth subsalicylate has a local protective effect on the digestive mucosa, decreases secretion and hypermotility due to its anti-enterotoxigenic and anti-inflammatory protective effect due to the stimulation of endogenous prostaglandin synthesis. An antidiarrheal, cytoprotective and intestinal antisecretory oral paste.

Indication:

For the non-specific treatment of gastroenteritis. It inhibits prostaglandin-mediated inflammation, induced secretion, and abnormal motility.
